Phil Inzinga
Inzinga is the executive producer and co-host of The Morning Animals on 98.1 WWLS “The Sports Animal” in Oklahoma City— where sports takes, random trivia, and questionable life advice all somehow coexist. Since joining the crew in, Phil has become the show’s somewhat voice of reason (or at least the voice of “wait, what are we talking about?”), bringing wit, sarcasm, and the kind of weird only a veteran radio guy can deliver.
Before settling into OKC mornings, Phil bounced around major markets like Chicago, Charleston, and Miami—proving you don’t need to know a quarterback rating to be a radio star, just impeccable timing and a strong opinion on breakfast food.
On The Morning Animals, Phil proudly represents the everyman: not a stats nerd, not a hot-take machine—just a sharp, funny guy trying to survive a room full of sports goobers before 9 a.m. He’s the guy who’ll make you laugh while also quietly wondering why grown adults are screaming about college football rankings on a Tuesday morning.
Off the air, Phil is a proud family man. He’s been married to his wife Sharon for over 30 years, which proves at least one person on Earth has the patience to live with him full-time. They have two kids, Maggie and Max, both of whom inherited their dad’s sense of humor and their mom’s tolerance. He’s also a longtime supporter of autism awareness and works closely with Autism Oklahoma—because being funny is great, but being kind is better.
Curtis Fitzpatrick
Curtis grew up in Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas but always wanted to end up in the Sooner State, where he has lived permanently since 1992. Curtis is a longtime market veteran, beginning as a college intern in 1994…and has spent his entire professional career working in TV and radio in the Oklahoma City Market since graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 1996.
Curtis has been a part of The Sports Animal’s morning show since 2000 and covers college football and OKC Thunder games.
Spinozi
Spinozi moved to Oklahoma City from his hometown of Baltimore in 1994 thinking he’d be here for about 5 minutes but just fell in love with the place! And all these years later, he’s still here!
“Except for the tornados, earthquakes and droughts, it’s seriously a great place to live,” says Spinozi. “The people are absolutely amazing!”
Spinozi spends every December driving across the state collecting money, toys and gifts for OK City Center and the “12 Days of Spinozi” which has provided under-served kids and families thousands of gifts and Christmas wishes!
Carey Murdock
Carey Murdock is the Owner & Publisher of SoonerScoop.com, the largest independent website covering University of Oklahoma athletics. As a veteran of the local sports scene, Carey has become one of the leading beat writers covering Oklahoma football.
Carey has covered multiple national football championships, Heisman Trophy winners as well as the Oklahoma City Thunder and more!
As a member of The Morning Animals, Carey’s breaking news and serious journalism can often conflict with his brash humor and wise-cracking ways. But it all comes together to form one of Oklahoma City’s top-rated morning shows.
